Museo Maya de Cancún
Its architecture is well worth admiring. Getting to the last level you can also view the surrounding areas. The museum hosts many sculptures, videos, and paintings, and even some ruins. The archaeological tour teaches a lot about the history of the city.
Parque de las Palapas
If you want to get as close to the locals as possible, this downtown square is where you must go. This is the place where locals meet, and it becomes really romantic in the evening. If you’re lucky you might even catch a show on the main stage.
MUSA Museo Subacuatico de Arte
This is an underwater contemporary museum of art completed in 2009. You can find this museum in the waters around Isla Mujeres, Cancun, and Punta Nizuc. You’ll mostly see sculptures that are meant to encourage the formation of corals.
Both experiences and less experienced swimmers can enjoy Cancún. The beaches facing Isla Mujeres is better for those with little swimming experience, as well as for families. The turquoise waters and white beaches of Cancún make swimming more enjoyable.

This aquarium is small, but offers a lot of fun activities especially for the kids. Petting or nursing various sea life and swimming with dolphins are the activities everyone goes here for.
